Default changing ign barrel

hi guys
lost my keys in work last night.
ive been quoted 200 off locksmith for new key.
and quoted 50 from breakers for barrel and locks.
is it a big job to change barrel,can anybody help.

Doors easy but lots of trim to remove Ign barrel I think has a pin that needs to be removed other than then simple unscrew and refit.

cheers mate,
doors no proplem can sort.
just ign not to sure about,
taking trailer tent up to norfolk friday,so big panick at moment,
hope someone found them and handed them in?

You usually have to put the ignition key in and turn it to accessory before you can press the pin to pull the barrel out. It looks like you'll need the whole ignition lock assembly, drill out the shearhead bolts and just bolt the new one in with normal cap heads.

I have ign lock and key in van you are not that far from me if you want to or indeed if you can pick up i can run through how to do it with you on an esti here

ive absolutley killed it.will need steering column with ign all ready on
