I had a load of dried on stuff all over the window, don't try pour it into a funnel when there's 20mph winds

I used a degreaser you use before spraying your car, it just got it off in one go.

I took mine to a hot foam wash place yesterday. He had to work for his money that time
Only the second time that somebody who wasn't me has had a go at washing the bus too

I might be a fiver lighter but it saved me the usual hours with a bottle of mer and a lot of elbow grease

I actually used plain old simple... petrol, that did the trick well. I thought it might have taken the shine of the paint work but no and it just lifted it off with great ease.

But thanks guys for all the ideas any, some interesting one's too.

Well I am dissapointed in you all

I wear my streaks of sticky stuff with pride.

Its the ultimate badge of honour. it start conversations in the petrol stations like

"Hear mate your spilling deisel down the side"

And then I take great delight in explaining that I fill up the tank for £20. the rest is free oil and they dont half get the hump with me----he he.

Ok Hands up--i did clean it off before East Anglian meet 1
and I used petrol come off no probs

I used Mr Muscle (lemon flavour!!!) seemed to get the worst off.

My local waste veg oil supplier has a spout with a long pipe attached that can be screwed on to where the 20 litre container lid goes ....only problem they want £19.50 for them....i'm sticking to a large funnel i got from the cooking section at a supermarket!

If you want to know about the long spout and no more spills ( sounds like an advert)..... this is their web site with contact details

I now have solved the problem with getting the svo from container into tank, £4.50 I think it was from Halfords, a siphoning pipe and it works every time without any spillage, a part from a few drips. But £19.50 for a spout does seem a little excessive! And you use Mr Muscle LEMON flavour, shall bear that in mind!
