Default Calling Bob

Bob, as you are obviously not coming to Spain again soon I am going to have to change my water pump myself. Have you published any tutorials on this procedure, I cant find any. I did watch when you did my SADS & cambelt so I do have some recollection, just need a bit of guidance.

Bob, thanks for your response. I have someone coming over in August who can bring me a new pump, I need to get it done as its leaking steadily now. I look forward to the tutorial.

I have been a member for some time and thought I still was. Nobody told me that my membership died with the old site.

Bob, I am assuming water pump is the problem. If I start from cold and just move a few yards, switch off & leave it, I end up with a small puddle of water, but for example I have been running back & forth to Cartagena every day for past 2 weeks, round trip 90k's & havent had to top up water. When I park up with a hot engine I dont see any water leak. Are there any other possible places for it to leak in the area of the water pump.

The buggers can do that will leak now and then before they give up altogether you need a pressure tester on there

Small children can also cause a similar problem...often traced to a faulty nappy seal...................Larger children can also cause the same problem, but I often find a Torque setting of about 25lbs around the neck helps cure the problem..................opps of thread again......
