Default Tow Bar Wiring

7 core wire from Tow Bar socket.

1) Left indicator (to Yellow on audible relay)
2) Fog
3) Earth
4) Right indicator (to Green on audible relay)
5) Right side light
6) Brake
7) Left side light

Audible Warning Relay



bit more info.....
TB= Tow Bar B= Buzzer
most of the wiring done behind passenger side light cluster
(TB) Red to Green/White (Brake Bulb)
(B) Orange to Green/Yellow (indicator Pass side)
(TB) Blue to Fog Light
(B) Grey to Green/Yellow (indicator Drivers Side)
(TB) Brown to Green/Pink" (?) (Tail lights Drivers side )
(TB) Black to Green/Pink" (Tail lights Pass side)
"= i say Pink but that might be dirt/age but you`ll be able to work out
which one it is.....

If you look at Owens post under Towbars, you will see that they are illegal on this vehicle.

Hi, Just looked at the link. prices seem a bit steep, there are cheaper ones on e-bay.

Hi Chris and welcome

you`re right there are cheapers ones out there for the Mk1 Estima not many available for the Mk2 just yet (apart from in the link)


The link is there just to point out that it`s not illegal to fit or tow with an Estima/Lucida/Emina............
