Default HHO or Hydroxy as a booster

I dont know howmany of you have had a look at this stuff to have a look at how it works..
We all know about hydrogen but did you know that when its added by fumigation method to your inlet of your engine that it helps achieve a more complete burn of your hydrocarbon fuel????

What happens is that the hydrogen molecules get compressed and are wating to be ignited by the ignition process wether that be diesel or petrol. Once fired the flame speed or burn rate for hydrogen is much higher than the hydrocarbon fuel being burnt so the hydrogen burns the whole content of the cylinder much faster meaning that all of the hydrocarbon fuel gets burnt. None is wasted.

The fact that this occurs more quickly means that more energy is being placed on the crank before it passes 90deg.
I know that in a petrol engine that peak cylinder pressure is achieved by burning only 25% of the fuel air mix. the other 75% is just wasted heat energy that has a very small impact on energy to the crank.

Most of that energy is sucked into the cylinder walls head pistons and driven out your exhaust system being wasted.
HHO or hydroxy or hydrogen hydrogen oxygen is made by cracking water.
Cracking water?? by passing current through water hydrogen and oxgen are formed of the plates in the water or more specifically hydrogen forms of the negative plate and oxgen off the positive plate. The gas can then be ingested into the engine and burned adding the above benefits to your engine.
The other benefit is that your emmisions are reduced ..
You might have your inspector shake his head a few times when you go to get your MOT done as your emmisions will be that good..

At the moment to produce this gas, it takes a lot of power or electrical power to make the gas.
I have been building a setup for my van and hoped to have it installed but have been sidetracked as per usual. I have removed my large front mount intercooler and will be running water alcohol injection in its place. Meaning my intercooler piping is none existant, my boost repsonse is sharper/faster. My inlet temps are lower and more denser meaning more torque and power and my emmisions drop due to the water alcohol mix burning it off...
My main reason for going to the water alcohol injection was so that I could put a bigger thermofan on my aircon condenser as I dont run a clutch fan but instead have a thermofan for my engine cooling. It wasnt enough for my aircon.. Plus its something that I really wanted to try....
Anyway better not go too far off track..

HHO is a good thing and I think of it like a supercharger.. Top fuel dragsters produce upto 8000HP and the supercharger robs the engine of 1000HP to make that 8000HP due to the mechanical loading put on the engine... HHO is the same..
There are a companies out there that guarantee a minimum of 8% improvement in economy but say that upto 30% is possible.....
Look fwd to your thoughts and will post pics and or video links shortly of my unit.

Happy new year Clint, have to say more than intrested in what you are doing, its great that you are going to post it so we can see. My step brother works for a major car builder and he has recently taken up a post dedicated to finding and using an alternative way of combustion, he is pretty good at what he does, he has alredy desinghed a new carb a few years ago in his own time and he patened the idea, 6 months later BMW got in touch with him to say they had more or less come up with the same idea, he now works part time for them and recived a dedicated fee from them. He thinks it's great that so many are using veg, he can see the major dissatvantages in using it, however what impressed him the most is the level of commitment to make the veg power work by the so called normal folk, ( the normal folk who change the norm that is). Any way enough rambling good luck and all the best steve.....

I suppose that sooner or later as fuel cost rise and the enviroment get progressively worse we all start to look for alternatives..
Good to hear about your brothers work Steve. If we didnt try anything we wouldnt go anywhere now would we.
Happy new year to yourself and your family.
Clint

It would be interesting to see how it works Clint and to know how you get on with it

When it rains it pours... Its been sitting on the floor for quite some time and needed some more things done to it.. I decided to mount the connection bolts to the sides of the case and have sealed them a wee bit better than before.
The design is simple, I have 3 stainless 304 pipes sizing 2" 2.5" and 3" mounted inside eachother/ They are held together coecentrically by 2X10mm nylon bolts and spaced from eachother by nylon washers.
The inner and outer pipes are connected together and the middle turbe would be the opposite pollarity..
I just have to mount this in the van, add wiring , add a bubbler or flash arrestor and pipework to the inlet hose near the filter box..
I also need to be able to limit current to around 15amps... Might make a Pulse width modulator for that one!!
anyway here are some pics of the generator.

I think we've discussed this before. I'll admit I'm a bit cynical about these things, but someone found a reference to a bus or delivery fleet who had fitted this to their engines.

I must read more about it, but where does the power to produce the hydrogen come from?

Found Loads of people doing these on you tube, somebody sometime is gonna crack the problems soon and generate enough gas to run the engine full time .

So basically you just fill this with water (I presume distilled), collect the gases and feed them into the inlet and let it rip?
