2WD or 4WD

Mines a 4wd Emina......holds the lanes nicely in wet...a must down here....what with the mud from tractors, etc.

is the 4x4 reving hire? your estima is cruising at 50 m.p.h. what is your r.p.m. reading 4 x 4 & single axle ? we do know the 4x4 is a lot heavier would the 4x4 rev hire for the extra weight it has to pull , so lets all go for a quick run in are buses at 50 m.p.h & read are r.p.m. & compare it against the 4x4 & singlr axle, could this be the reason or does any member have any other ideas why this is so.

wouldnt it be from the extra strain on the gearbox and engine powering 4 wheels not 2?????

I cant believe this, i really thought they were all 4wd with a few 2wd dotted about the country

i was the same when i bought mine,didn`t know much about "imports", there was no owners club as such to research information,the genral consensus was "don`t touch an import" & most were advertised as 4WD & Auto (didn`t know you could get a manual one either)

yes you could well be correct ! that is why I am trying to get a survey on the r.p.m. between the 2 w.d. & the 4 w. d. to try & find why the 4 w. d. seem to do the heads in more than the 2 w. d. , but not one result yet?
