This is confusing; two new members from NZ, both called Richard and both with a white Aeras! I'm in Auckland though.

Do all Estimas have the carmera wiring in place or only if the car came with the camera from the factory (i.e. could I retrofit a camera easily)?

Also, where should I look for the RCA plugs etc that others have found (just out of interest)

Thanks
Richard

My wife's one has the reversing camera in place and functioning perfectly, but the box under the seat doesn't seem to do anything. I can hear it spinning up the disc, but nothing shows on the screen.

The RCA sockets are near the top of the left rear suspension tower, inside the car. I don't know if they are inputs or outputs.

Box under seat is the sat nav computer, the sockets at the rear are audio/video inputs....... select TV and vcr on your head unit.

Thanks Paul. So the SatNav box is completely dead weight then I presume- it won't be of any use outside of Japan?
