Default 3.0Ltr V6 Air Filter part numbers

Bought a genuine & non genuine to compare.Had to order both as neither were available "over the counter". Blueprint one was next day,Toyota one was a couple of days.....

The "Blueprint" filter is made up of 2 rows of filter paper,in a plastic frame with a rubber edge.Slightly heavier than the Toyota one but priced at about £17.00

The Blueprint catalogue lists the MCR30 as a 3.0Ltr i not V6 (V6 is an MCR40 in their catalogue but it`s the same filter)

The Toyota one has single rows of filter paper and looks as though it`s made entirely from filter paper,no plastic frame or rubber edge which makes it lighter than the "Blueprint" one but priced at £20.31

We.ve got all ADL Blueprint filters on our 3 litre, using their electronic catalogue, we just did it via a 2000> Estima with 1MZFE engine & it cam up with all the filters.

Working fine, all the ADL stuff is good quality, so you'll not have any trouble with their stuff.

BTW, where did you have to order the ADL parts, my local factor (CAF) have all three on the shelf for the V6.

Regards, Rob.

The local factor`s i used are Kevin Coopers in Plymouth. They are normally good but they`ve never had anyone ask for the 3.0Ltr V6 one.when i went in and asked "can i have an air filter for a Toyota Estima" his natural asumption was it was for a 2.2TD....

He had to ring up & confirm they could get one 1st though..........
