Default ReMiX Getting Even Bigger!!!

Well here I take the plunge in modding the engine First off I got hold of a larger Intercooler and pipes (Cheers Bob) and we got hold of Pipes ourself, so that means I can now make the breather bigger and replacing the intercooler pipes (plastic) to alloy, and I been grinding the inlet with throttle body (not touching the head!) and I have all ready fitted the 3" exhaust all that leaves me to do is get a bigger turbo thinking of going for CT12A/B when I can find one lol, Anyway I will post some pictures up later to show you what I have done,

It still has the standard CT9 turbo so the first 9" of the pipe is standard pipe then it goes to a 3" but once I get a bigger turbo it will be bigger from the turbo, Here some pictures JJ promised, Eminafan I will get JJ to take a picture of the exhaust for you.

Here JJ cut the bend wider so more air can pass and smoother too,

Here the throttle body as you can see the diffrence,

Here the exhaust for you and the intercooler & pipes ....JJ

There a battery next to the intercooler that is AA size so you can work out the size.

Is that a Custom FMIC JJ or is it based on another vehicle?

Im not totally sure djdigitald, It looks if it a custom/aftermarket FMIC maybe Bob can put more light on it? JJ is fitting it on as we speak as we are swopping the rad over too so while everything is off he will fit it all on, then it just leaves the turbo. We are looking for CT12A/B but JJ wants to get his hands on CT20 from a 2.4 engine, Mr Mince we can always do a 1/4 time? and list it on here? .....Debbie

Sounds good to me, of course you'll have to wait on Clint finishing his latest project on the bus though, he was busy completely getting rid of the SADS last time I read
