lpg conversion?

I see that diesel engines can be converted to LPG.
Can anyone explain the pitfalls of lpg conversion?
With diesel at almost £1.30 per litre it would seem like the way to go.

i daresay gas will rocket as soon as everyone cottons on to that one.

LPG is used as well as Diesel in these conversions not instead of! I would imagine that in reality by the time you take the conversion cost into account and the need to buy both fuels the saving will be practically zero!

there is no point lpg'in a diesel as both fuels are used as opposed to the petrol engine whch runs soley on gas
as a result unless your super loaded there is no plus to doing this conversion
