Default Gears...

What is the problem when you try to get the gear lever out of park, and it won't come out?

A few brake pedal presses and it moves.....but what makes it stick in park?

Does anyone know....

Would it be low gear oil or low brake fluid?

I would say brake fluid if it releases after a few presses, maybe air in the system.

If there is air in the system the pedal will feel spongey

Low fluid....

There's no spongy feel....that's why I didn't think of brakes straight away...but the fluid is just below the minimun, which will be it....

Kev has only just done the rear brakes,....so, thinking about it, I bet he didn't know where the filler was for them....cos he put a new rear cylinder on too.

I check everything every week.....except the brake fluid...and that is done every year whether it needs it or not....

Only joking....but I must admit I don't check it as often as I should....
