12v Bio Diesel Transfer Pump Vegetable oil plant waste on eBay, also, Hand Tools, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Jul-08 09:53:01 BST)

the pump turned up today and its exellent !

i was a bit weary about its suction capabilities but bugger me can it suck!
it self primes almost instantly and works perfect on cold wvo.

is it worth the money..........YES!
no more knee deep in stinking wvo, just put the intake tube into the top layer of wvo(so as not to disturb the solids) and fire away.. im well impressed

i used me pump today and christ is it worth every penny...

absolutely brilliant!!!

all i did was skim the top liquid off and if it sucked air, it self primed and carried on.
i filled 2 20 litre containers in less than ten mins from start to finnish with no mess at all exept for a few drops.

i even took the settled gunk back to him and he thanked me for it lolol....mad..

good to hear about the pump as i have been looking at that for a while, i have collected90-100 litres of used oil from various sourses, so i am going to filter using jeans first, then j cloths, then 5 micron filter and then one micron, when i am up and running i will start a post but keep up yours as i am learning from you , but def will get the pump now ....cheers steve....

steve.. its a bit on the dear side for "just a pump",but i can vouch for it doing the job perfectly!. the only thing i come accross was that im using cheap n nasty hose and as it uses a standard hose fitting, it did crumple on the input side if you hit a bit of sludge......btw, the pump comes with 2 hose fittings and a cleanable mesh filter to filter things out to the size of a crumb!..

damn good pump!

OK, 50 litres at one micron,so is it best to split it 25 litres to two litres of petrol, leave for a week or three then use, advice please as i am starting to get otchy fingers and want to stick it in the tank.......cheers....
