Default Ophiuchus very very very very very sick

Well it has finally happened. Ophiuchus head went today. Right outside of Mr Minces house. Drove through to see why i was losing water, parked up then few minutes later started up to put bus on his drive and a little bang and lots of white steam out of exhaust. Pretty good diagnosis then. We then went on hunt of k-seal but got a quick fix alternative or at least we thought so. Flushed out radiator, very clogged up. Took a while to get reasonable. Took thermostat out and now permantley out til head fixed. Put everything back together and started up. Seemed strange that he was sitting there running fine and no air locks. So procceeded home, got just outside Cowdenbeath where i live on dual carriageway and engine management light comes on. Pulls over into layby. Steam streaming out of top up. Gradually get all pressure out and expansion tank empty. Put five litres water in and stillnone in expansion tank. So call M M out, my local mechanic. (M M is Mr Mince) Brings a load of water. Top up again and try to start. Big volcano of water spurts up. Try to start and nothing. Twenty minutes later and Ophiuchus still not start. Neither of us has tow rope so off to garage and purchase one. Back to bus and begin the tow, rapidly flying along road at 30mph. Onto slip road and at top as we pull away again, ping as one strand breaks. Along to next roundabout and ping tow rope broke. Us one of my seamanship knots and off we go along road to house with no further breaks.

Ophiuchus is now parked outside and does not start. So the saving starts now. New head and radiator and everything else to aquire. Felt like crying but he will rise again and i will be happy again.

A big big big thank you to Mr Mince for his help today on his day off and a hugh hug to Mrs Mince for the tea and sandwhiches today and for me taking her husband away to help me.

So to cap it off, dont know why does not start anymore and k-seal will now be on its way.

Oh what a shame....poor Ophiuchus...

Toby and Wallace send their love, and say to tell Ophiuchus that although he feels very ill at the moment, he will one day feel better again...
