Default Rev counter died

Well there was I saying not a thing has gone wrong, so it has.

Rev counter, tachometer or whatever you call it starts with engine and runs for about a minute and then dies. A good bash on the dash makes the needle bounce.
Start engine again and same thing. I'm guessing at a dry joint somewhere but where?
Sender on back of the fuel pump, one of the many connections in between, or the counter itself. I have spares of both ends and most likely bits in the middle but if anyone has been there and fixed it let me know before I change the lot. Funny how much I used the counter rather than the speedo!

I'd guess it's not a dry joint as the problem would be more intermittent than that (IMHO).

If I had to guess, I'd go for sender, but it'd just be a hunch.

Well I think that would be an ecumenical matter

But in the best spirit of the ecumenical movement you should follow the following advice

Quote:
Further information and how to request an amendment
We are always glad to be informed of amendments to entries, and we particularly appreciate any information about clergy whose addresses are not currently known to us.
Information relating to omissions or amendments should be sent to the Crockford department (subscribers can also make a change request online from the page detailing an individual record); requests for archival information from earlier editions should be addressed in writing to Lambeth Palace Library; and requests for other information should be addressed to the Church of England Enquiry Centre.
Contact details
Crockford Department
Church House
Great Smith Street

Often been said about me!

I'll try the in car route first, if all screws are tight I'll switch in another while I'm there.

Thanks.
