Default Toby's turbo light...

Toby's green turbo light doesn't come on now. The orange one doesn't light up, but that never has thank goodness.

I wonder if it is the bulb that has gone?

This won't be believed, but I've had it up to 4000 revs....oh I know, call me a liar......but as I sit here and breath, it did 4000 revs.....

That is getting up Glyn's hill on a cold day when it's only just been fired up, but never the less, it was 4000.....

Clive will be proud...

Usually, I start the van and it goes as normal, reaches around 2000 and changes gear....could be slightly less RPM depending on what road I'm on.

Now the green light doesn't come on, and unless I ease my foot off the gas to make it change up, it can and does rev it's balls off before it changes....getting up to around 4000....and it goes a long way in low gear before it changes too.

After it's warmed up, it doesn't do it.....but the green light still doesn't come on.

I suspect the vac pipe has come off. Now by the air filter there should be a a vac pipe that goes accross to the engine, a tT piece with one end going to the top of the fuel pump and the other end goes to a small pipe that comes out of the air pipe to the inlet manifold, just pop it back on.
It may help to remove the rubber bellows hose and air filter top to get a good view of where it goes.
In fact this pipe blows rather than sucks!
