Default Towbar fitting

Right then. I've now - finally - got my towbar, and the time has come (when it's not dark or raining) to fit it. And with that I need some help.

First of all, please see: Andrew Richardson's Photos - Towbar pics | Facebook for some photos of the towbar in question.

I've had a look under the back of the bus (sensible, no?), and I think I've sorted the position of the inner set of brackets - there are some plates just in from the towing eye on either side where the bolts line up nicely with the holes on the brackets. I'll have to measure to confirm, but that looks fine. My questions are:

1) Am I right with the positioning of the inner brackets?
2) Where do the outer brackets go, and will I have to remove the bumper to get decent access? I can't see, at the moment, where the outer brackets fit.
3) Do I need to drill any holes?
4) Where's the best place to hook up the electrics?
5) Where's the nut (other than driving) for winding down the spare wheel holder?
6) Why is it getting dark, why does it rain so much, etc etc

Thanks all.

When I fitted a tow bar the bumper had to come off, as the main tow points are bolted to where the main bumper braces fit. I removed the spare wheel carrier to make room for myself.
The towbar I had only needed two holes drilled for the bracket that is on the end of the T piece at about the far end of where the spare goes.
I had to adapt the the strengthner in the bumper to allow it to be refitted.
Took about 2 hours to fit and then a further two hours doing the wiring!

I'll have a go of fitting the brackets (if the weather allows) at the weekend & will report back on how much swearing was involved...

Right, I had a go last weekend, but it didn't go very well: I dropped out the spare wheel (for my head so I could see!! So I could see!!!! ) & undid a couple of bolts to offer up one of the inside brackets.... which was promptly too large for the bumper bracket it seems to need to fit inside. I didn't have a go of 'persuading' the bumper bracket to expand a little to fit. It looks like removing the bumper is the best option.
So, how do I do that, then?

Thanks.
