Default alternator swap from 3ct to 3cte ?

I have a estima 3ct alternator ,with a vacuum pump on the front of the alternator .I was wondering if it was possible to remove the pump from the alternator so it would fit my estima 3cte. Either that or does anyone know where the best place to get a second hand or reconditiond one from ?

I got my replacement 3cte alternator from ebay £25 all in, took me approx 30 minutes to take the old one off and refit the new one working from under the car (car on ramps). Found out later the old alternator was ok after all, it was my battery that suddenly lost the will to live !!!!

Why not just strip the alternators and swap the rectifier pack and regulator from the one with the pump?
With these alternators you don't even have to touch the bearings as the rectifier pack and regulator is under the pressed steel cover at the back.

Would only take half an hour if you have them on a bench.
