There is a tutorial somewhere but I think it might be in members only area.

Basically, take the pipe off going into the oil cooler. start the engine for about 20 seconds. this will drain off a small amount. add the same amount of new oil back to the gearbox and repeat. It apparently takes about 16L to do this fully.

BUT....don't do it this way if you have a turbo timer etc.

2.5 litres is about right if you have just drained it through the sump plug, as roughly 1/2 litre is held in the torque convertor.

After a few drain/refills through the sump I got bored doing it the long way round and undid the pipe, took 14 litres in all.

i did the sump plug method and found out that it dusnt do the job propperly.

i`d used a good 10 litres before doing it the right way and i was well p*****d off cos i`d wasted more oil(dex3) than i wantd to.

so the morrel is...........do as the tutorials say!
