Brookse, the aircon drips up front, the leak I am concerned about comes from the timing case.

Bob, thanks for that. I spose I should just buy one and wait till it gets worse, its been the same for a year now. Where do you recommend I buy one, have seen lots of cheapo ones on Ebay.
Incidentally do you know if any other oil filter will fit, ie from another model or make of car. They are costing me £20 here whereas the local supermarket sells oil filters for all common cars for about £8. ( all prices calculated on current exchange rates)

toyota for the pump dont buy a cheap one

Re oil flters, they are the only ones that are out of stock.
