| Another problem, this time with my father-in-laws bus. Basically the aircon seems temperamental. The system is fully gassed, and seems to blow out ice cold air for about 2-3 minutes, then suddenly the cold goes and just warm air blows out. If you turn the ignition off and leave for a few minutes, the system will blow cold again but then hot after a while. I wonder if this is an electrical problem...mayby the a sensor on the climate control has given up? | ||||||||

| sorry I don't know too much about these cars, but I am a competent DIY mechanic. Any ideas where I would find the said sensor? Is it somewhere in the dash? | ||||||||

| I have two sliders. one for blower speed and the other for temperature, then loads of buttons to tell the system whether I want the output on the screen, feet, face, recirculate, auto climate, etc etc. It certainly has more buttons than my brother in laws non climate Previa. | ||||||||

| If you sit in the drivers seat and look to the bottom right of the windscreen and on the top of the dash panel there should be a black circlular fitting about the size of a 50p. This is one of the temp sensors. A second sensor is fitted on the lower trim panel on the drivers side. Sitting in the seat, look to the left of the cluster and follow a vertical line downwards you should see a small vent on the trim panel underneath the steering wheel. This can clog up with dirt and fluff. There is also a sensor under the bonnet and directly in front of the radiator. | ||||||||
