Stupid car!!!
they're all working now
must be a sticky switch.
put hazards on they were fine-which i thought strange...
put ind' on and they're all working again.
maybe its cause the cars been sitting for a few days...just needed using again !!!
i feel so embarrassed!!!!

..darn (sorry).... and you were about to get an answer. I'll have to ask now as my first post.

Can someone tell me where the turn indicator or flasher unit is (don't know what it's called in the UK) as I can't locate mine on my Estima (1991). The hazards and the indicators may or may not flash then stop.. then maybe go. The only way to ensure someone knows you are turning is to move the stalk up and down. Since it makes noise so infrequently I can't locate the unit looking under the dash.

the flasher unit is behind the black dash trim to the left of centre vents, before opening this up, searc on alarm tutorial or white dials tutorial.
It may be worth just giving a squirt with wd40 around the hazard switch and some rapid switching of the hazard switch, Mine played up ages ago but the hazard switch felt a little sticky and it was , Kids had spilt juice down it when I popped int the garage and this caused the problem a couple of days later.
