Default I am just so daft Trans pipe help needed

Well before someone says it I am a blitering idiot. I got this prob with the trans oil and a leak. Took advice from Bob got under started her up and yeap there`s the leak under the drivers door. No not one but both pipes gushing like old faithful. Got me hack saw chopped em off went to replace them. Well bugger me forgot to mark them Oh silly me i thought to myself apologising to an old dear as she walked her dog. Well i`ve got the photo`s to help can anyone please let me know which pipe goes to which pipe.

I can hear del boy shouting you plonker already.

Please help.....1st pic above trans looking from near side 2nd pic to the right of trans box..

But if i cross over the conections then link up an in with an out there won`t be any flow surely.

They go the same way and there is no problem in doing that way. It goes to the bottom of the rad and it is only a hollow tube in the rad so you have nothing to worry about

Peace of mind at last will sleep easy. cheers folks you are so brill on here.
Being alien to engines and only doing stuff for myself to save money cos i ain`t got none in the first place. i just don`t want to kill the car by doing something daft. What might seem really simple to some is gobbledigoup to me until it`s explained in plain english and i`m not easily offended if you have to shout it at me. though it might be a little frustrating.

Mine rotted through as well ...

I bought the two new pipes from Toyota around £55 ish ...

Pain to fit though as the two are coupled together and about five feet long ...!!

Splicing some oil resistant pipe and jubilee clips would have been easier ... and cheaper ...

you hit it on the head there, most of us are here for the same reasons as you. to learn how to do it ourselves and save money we havent got. with these buses so odd to us non mechanics and many many paid mechanics its one of the reasons this site is so big
