I dont think I want it that dark at the rear. I have went for 35%.
Just placed the order and hoping it will get here about wednesday.

I have Looked in the bus to check to see how easy it will be to do. It all looks easy but I guess I will be proven wrong when times comes to fit it lol. HOWEVER...... I have found a small area on the 2nd row driver side window that has started to peel Can someone tell me if these window has some kind of protective film or something over it?? it's defo not tint as the 'filmed' part of the window is the same colour/shade as the peeled away part.

So Do I peel the rest off?? or do I cut the edges away with a razor and tint over it??

I will take a pic tomorrow to show you what I mean

It sounds to me like it has been previously tinted. I changed the tints on a previous car and when I peeled off the old tint, it left a clear film on the window, must be the adhesive layer.

The best tip for applying your own film is to have a garden spray bottle with soapy water and keep both the film and the glass VERY wet and soapy. When you have put the film on the window, as you squeeze the water out it'll stick to the glass...then there is no moving it.

As far as I know, It doesnt look like it's tinted (see my picture below). I thought it might be some kind of protective film. I am unsure what to do now.

Do I use a razor to trim the edges off (so it will be smooth) and tint over it? but this might trap a air bubble.

Or do I rip what ever is on there off and tint under it?

If I rip it off, it looks like it will go all the way to the black dots on the edge of the window. I dont want to rip those out...

Heres a pic.

It doesnt look tinted......

I have already bought myself a roll of tint and it should be here tomorrow. plus it's way too far for me to go just to pick up the set of windows.

So do you think I need to cut that out or rip all of it off?

Take your time and give them all a good clean ,you cant beat a good prep, ,and dont forget cut the pattern on the outside and use pleanty of soapy water ,try using one of them kitchen spray bottles ,as i say take your time and it will pay off for you.
