Default Rear Brake Shoes

Is there any easy way to tell if they are worn out, without taking them to bits that is.

Try driving off with your handbrake on, if it move easy theres a problem, if you take foot off the gas and it does not stop rolling theres defo a problem .
Best to go to kwik fit and get them to check em, doubt they will have the shoes but will free everything up for you whilst they try and check......

Owenmall, I got news for you, there is nothing even remotely like Quickfit in Spain, we have just had a tyre shop open up, we are still waiting for an exhaust shop. Its all take it to the garage & lose the vehicle for a week, nothing takes less than a week here.

simply scotch wheels, remove your wheel , let hand break off,
remove screw from break drum, pull the drum off , examine the shoes, easy no excuses you have the nice sunny weather unlike us , roll your sleaves up and get stuck in relining your breaks in sunny spain , done mine yesterday wearing my wolly hat and scarf
