Default Where's the central locking relay on my P-reg ?

Hi all,

Great and useful forum. I love my Lucy, but it needs remote c/l : ) It's a P-reg Areas model and all the c/l works fine manually.

About to get a Hawk kit off ebay, but I'm reading that the c/l relay is not behind the dash as per the pictures in various threads and instead is underneath the drivers side somewhere.

Are there any threads on fitting a remote kit to a later model like this ? or any pictures / descriptions of the location of the c/l and fitting a remote kit.

Thanks in advance

Lee

Thanks, yes it looks pretty simple. I tried to listen for where the relay was this morning but couldn't clearly pin it down to either under the drivers side or behind the dash on the right hand side.

Anyone else know ?

thanks

Thanks Bob, I was hoping for you to chip in

Have you fitted one of these kits to a late model ? Any advice tips on accessing the relay, wiring information would be much appreciated.

thanks

Once you have the panel down (two screws on lower edge)and pull it out from the bottom the relay is located as i said in front of your knee it wiil have locking relay moulded into the plastic in english there is enough wire for you to pull it out and connect to

Magic, the relay is clearly visible and when you disconnect the plug there is enough wire to pull down to cut into.

Next question is which wires do what ? is there a wiring diagram for this model around ?

thanks
