Default New shape 2000 Estima - does this have a timing chain or cambelt?

I'm just in the process of buying a 2000 Estima 2.4 new shape - does this have a timing chain or cambelt?
Thanks
Paul

one thing to keep an eye on is the Engine management light...

can come on with no real explanation as to why.
It`s happened a few times(1st time was when i just bought it) on mine but after reading this it put my mind at ease (a bit)

The usual advise please please don't be caught out with a import with no transparency a high percentage of these are clocked and or accident repairs please read the buyers guides on the homepage of this site and a more detailed version on my website. Two types of import non transprent cheap and take your chances or transparent with the auction report, dereg docs, service history etc much better value in the long run and reliability.

All the best

Mark

They don't like passing a Petrol station ... expect around 20mpg in normal light footed everyday use use ....

Mine does 18mpg ... on LPG @ 48.9p litre ... (69 litres = £33.75 for a full tank)
