2008 is 37th annual Woodvale Rally show and as always continues to be the best for all round family entertainment!

TWO GREAT DAYS OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY

RAF Woodvale Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2008

Hi all Geting this one in early so none of you miss it get it on the calender NOW!!!!! if you would like to join me on the Estima Club Stand? Make a note of the dates.....

About the woodvale event:

TWO GREAT DAYS OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY

RAF Woodvale Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2007

Open from 8.30am to 6pm on both days

http://www.woodvale-rally.org.uk is the official website of the Woodvale International Rally and is the only website approved by the organisers of the Event. The information provided on this website is updated regularly and is believed to be correct but intending visitors are advised to check details for themselves before visiting the Rally. The organisers of the Woodvale international Rally accept no responsibility for information appearing on other websites purporting to originate from the Woodvale Rally or giving information about the Rally.

The Woodvale International Rally is organised by Woodvale Rally Limited, a non-profit organisation who's aim is to raise monies for charitable purposes and good causes. All the people who work at the Event, laying out the ground plan and dealing with the myriad things associated with a large public event, acting as tellers at the public entrances, parking cars etc. give of their time freely. Without them the Rally just would not happen.

Woodvale Rally is held on Ministry of defence property, the airfield is a live RAF Establishment, which for the rest of the year supplies the needs of the RAF in training young men and women members of Manchester and Salford University Air Squadron and Liverpool University Air Squadron, as pilots. The station is also the home to number 10 Air Experience Flight (10AEF), which gives air experience to young men and women of the Air Training Corps and the RAF Section of the local Combined Cadet Force. The Air Training Corps Merseyside Wing Head Quarters are also at RAF Woodvale.

The Merseyside Police Air Support Group Helicopter is based at RAF Woodvale and operates 24 hours a day throughout the year, even when the Rally is running!

Our thanks go the MOD, the Officer Commanding and the Station Administration Officer RAF Woodvale for all the help given to the Rally organisers.

Not very much, not much up or down on £12 if the plan of 2 tickets per bus (to make the stand a decent size) is still going ahead this year it's one of the cheapest weekends on the calendar and a good show too

10 miles which way. I'm about 15 miles from Woodvale.
And I plan on going this / next year too. Last time I was there was 2004 with my Townace.
