Unhappy

Well here in Australia the price just keeps going up and up. When we first got our car less than 12 months ago (july) diesel cost us $1:30 AU $.a litre, not sure what that is in pounds. but today its $1.79.9 AU a litre. Our car is a turbo diesel. runs really well but when on a fixed budget that extra 49 cents a litre can really mount up and I (leanne) have just started an Aged Care course in another town not far away, but travelling is going to be more expensive.
They are talking about it going over the $1:80 in the next week or two..foods going up because of the price of diesel (not under federal fuel pricing like petrol/lpg gas is here in Australia as well as the drought.
But what do you do when you need the car to get around. Trevor has looked into the biodiesel thing but not sure about. still looking into it at the moment. Guess when it hits the $2AU a litre we might have to think about walking. mind you would be a long walk to get to my class Mondays and Tuesdays lol.
We were soo wrapped to actually get a car that was reliable and used less fuel and cost less to run than a petrol car..oh well maybe one day..
