Default What was it , then ?

Was it the couplings ? Play in the shafts appears to be the indicator I think ?
Reason for asking is that I have a 'metallic' rasping if you like and visually the SADS seem ok. Have posted here before( well when it the old site !! ) but never get a satisfactory reply from anyone. Oh yeah, only noticeable below 2000 RPM ( ?! ). Still happening. After lots of searching on the 'net, another culprit may be the vacuum pump, or the EGR valve. Haven't had time/inclination to get to any of these parts yet. Another suggestion was the turbo ( bloody hope not though !! ).
You might want to be sure of other options for mysterious noises, before shelling out for SADS changes.

Good Luck.
