![]() | Well I been in the shed got the spare inlet with throttle, U bend and fittings Stripped it down (very easy the butterfly) and wiped it down Not too bad so it been left to soak in paraffin over night then going to wash it all down, see how it all looks tomorrow (Think I should do a new post or I could help you here?) . Hope to get the turbo seal kit (Terry is getting me a turbo too) with the Calipers seals from Toyota soon and when the turbo is done I will make the 3" exhaust and see how that runs .....JJ |

![]() | Well this afternoon I got my head down to do some work on ReMiX, First off I did was in Order :- Removed the following Inlet manifold with throttle body, turbo Manifold, EGR and pipe's and the Turbo, did a bit of cleaning not much as I thought I was wait till I did all the work first to see if it stops leaking, Put a newer turbo in replaced the inlet manifold with a cleaner one and a butterflyless throttle body, put it all back together without the EGR and it started (not first time as had to bleed the lines first) went for a test drive and OMG!!!!!!!!! as it has said on the thread it is more responive but I cant say anything about the fuel yet as it only been done today, no more smoke quicker even at 60 / 70 mph |

![]() | Glad it all came together. A bit of work but well worth I think. Did you find the above 2000rpm interesting while driving along main roads in national speed limit areas? Its quite a rush in the power as opposed to the previous experience. My fuel consumption has not been hit as such. I really need to do a measurement and see what effect if has had. |

Andy I dont know anything about 3ct engines, You could try the butterflyless? no harm in trying I dont think unless someone knows better? Vorenus, yes it is interesting to see it more responsive even at 2000rpm so it could be interesting when I see the kids at the end of the month, .....JJ | |

![]() | Hi JJ, would'nt this upset the ECU. If you alter the way the engine managment been set up surley it's going to need remaping/ reprograming. ????. Thats probably why you've got higher revs, cause the ECU has'nt recognised the changes. Is Vorenus's bus doing the same ?.....Steve
