BECAUSE OF earls barton FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL sadly cancelled,we have decided to attend this one instead as an alternative

http://www.bordercit...o.uk/index.html

been in touch with the organiser, and we are welcome to attend as a car club, and exhibit our vehicles, camping and entrance is free of charge for each exhibit and 2 people, small charge for extra people.

Very similar to earls barton steam rally with very good faciliites and entertainment.

entry forms are available for download on the site,or easier to pm Keith your details and he will fill the form in and post it off.

Please add your name to the list if interested. just copy and paste original list then add your name.

hope all goes to plan john and hope to see you there.

download your exhibitor forms from the site link,

http://www.bordercit...ntry%20Form.pdf

these need to be posted to keith ireland by the 1st of april if possible please.
Anyone going to the SHADY OAK MEET OR EASTER MEET AT CARNEY POOLS can bring them along with them and hand them over to keith there. He will then send them all in together so we get allocated an area as a club.

This looks to be a fantastic rally, with a procession through Carlisle over the weekend which we can take part in as a convoy under police escort.

btw ,we are looking for a compere, any volunteers?

Hi Paul

This looks like a great weekend, how does it work if we go as an exhibiter? Do we all take the cars to a given area and hang around all day, do we put the caravans in a special area and mainly do we have the £2,000,000 public liability insurance.
We are interested in going and would be bringing my 1980 rapido folding caravan and was wondering if the site has electric points.

Cheerss Gary

this is a very relaxed rally, basically we go as exhibitors and are allocated some were to pitch our camp, and its up to ourselves how we want to exhibit,so keith will arrange something i think, but you wont be obligated to if you dont want to, , no electric as far as i know, and not usually at any of the steam rallies i have attended, but we are allowed generators, and hopefully the weather will have improved by may.

btw ,yes we do have insurance :secret:
