Seems such a shame to have to use it for my 72mile daily commute...

That mileage is going to be creeping up at quite a rate !

Really pleased with the bike though, lovely and smooth and in really good condition.

PAUL!!! oh man ive always loved those Africa Twins,i only managed to get up to tdr 250,the older ones with floro orange bodywork, before my feet stopped working,it was awesome to drive with road tyres, took some revving but got there in the end!!

MORE SHOTS OF THE AFRICA TWIN!!!!!

SORRY BOOBOO!!

I like the old style jap bikes to,will be just the job for what your doing with it and great to work on DIY.,reminds me of my dads last bike,he ended up giving it up though, was never the same after he and the mother!! had an accident, usual T bone accident with some dodgy driver.

Hi Paul9 - shame I cant make it to the MCN Skegness weekend, I'll be at Santa Pod for the AER event. Went to an MCN weekend at Prestatyn a few years back ,it was a total blast and something I'd like to do again.

Lucifreak - no worries B) .You're right - the main reason I got this bike was for the DIY servicing. It's an easy bike to take a spanner to and is very basic,no gadgets to go wrong - although a clock/fuel gauge would be nice.

Hopefully being a Honda it won't need too much fettling.

Nice condition bike Posted Image You'll have a great time on the commute.

I ran mine up at the weekend and I need new downpipes as mine are starting to blow. So it will be a few weeks before I use mine for the commute.
