Just ordered a set of these. Not the cheapest available (and far from the dearest), but if the quality is good, then the size alone should make them the best option if running on high %ages of WVO  I'll get back to you after I've used one or two and put a few hundred klicks on the clock.

i looked at them, but they seemed narrow, and would need to be twice the size of the ones i use now, because they are twice the price, let us know how they compare to the usual ones.

They're the ones I was originally looking at. Very decent price as, locally, they can cost up to £4 each!
Despite the narrower width of the others I think the extra length will still give a bit more area of filter material. In both cases they could probably be backflushed with soapy water once or twice to make them last a bit longer.

They came today, but it's a bit too wet at the moment to fit one. In the meantime I've measured one: It's 12.5cms long not including the tails which are 4cms each (6mm diameter, stepped to 8mm at the base), and 4cms wide (4.5cms at the centre join). The filter 'cage' inside is 10.5cms x 4cms.

If you do manage to make it to a meet, bring one with you and we can compare sizes

Hhmmm ... you show yours and I'll show you mine, eh? Pervert!

Anyhoo: They're really a bit too long for an Estima as the main fuel line is only about 25cms long. I've got one fitted, but I had to add another length of fuel hose - about 10-12cms I think (I didn't think to measure it at the time).
