hi
just an update on the post i did about smoke on start up. i have had it into the local garage i use and they have pressure tested the cylinders and have got around 400 on 3 of the cylinders and 200 on the other one and i have been told it is a valve problem. now i am hoping that all you mechanical people can tell me if this is an easy fix or major surgery. i am trying to contact the previous owner as i know it had a genuine toyota head but i dont know if that includes all the valve gear as i am not that mechanically minded.the bus is too good to give up on but the line has to be drawn somewhere and i need as much info as i can get before making a decision to repair or replace. any good mechanics around sheffield?

Rather than spread doom & gloom about what might be the trouble, the closest expert I know of is Mike at RSR Classics (Chapel Lane, Finningley, Doncaster, DN9 3DH); phone 07872 341705.

Yesterday was a good day to die. Today has been even better. I can't wait to see what tomorrow will be like
