I'm supposed to be taking Jacob ( well that's my excuse ) to the Bulldog Rally next weekend. First rally of the BRC season.

However, the spectator "information" only went up on Monday and doesn't say how much the admission is, where the car parks are and how they relate to the stages ( so I can pick a good spot), or what time the car parks open.

How do they expect people to know when to turn up

Or is this a "Local rally for local people only"

Looks like I'll be turning out about 4am on Saturday morning, to get down there for about 6:30 - 7 am. Have breakfast then onto the stage. I was hoping to go the night before, park up in the car park and sleep in the car, but not going to head down there only to find the car park closed, don't fancy sleeping in a lay-by :sofa:

how olds jacob ft? when i was a contractor we used to sleep in town centre carparks occasionly, just used to get our heads down in the back of the vans or sometimes across the front seats and keep our dig moneys so we had extra for booze :sofa: if jacobs old enough, could you not try one of those sorts of car parks near by  if i remeber rightly we never had to pay for the parking as long as we moved before 7 or 8 am and was safe under cctv apart from the odd funny so-an-so coming back from nightclubs ect
:cloud9: be carefull what you wish for, you might just get it
