Default Manual Sun Roof

OK, now I am back here, I can't stop posting. Flora the Explorer, our P plated Previa has an annoying manual sun-roof. One of those Ford style ones (tho not actually a ford branded one) with the twisty handle. Is this standard or do we think it has been replaced by a previous owner? I am sure she should have an electric one, it is so unlike Toyota to put anything manual in its cars.

My old Luci like most of them had a manual flip up sun roof and electric moonroof, so this is a bit of a shock..! I wouldn't mind but the slack in thandle means it opens a crack when on the motorway, when you haven't asked it too!

is yours a tin top with the one sunroof over the 2 front seats?,as the GS or GX are the uk base models i think, hence the manual sunroof.the GL have twin sunroofs, one is a manual pop up job over the front seats and there is an electric sliding moonroof for the rear passengers.also if the original owner was a skinflint he probabley went for the cheap option of the single manual sunroof.all depends on the spec he ordered from toyota.I mean the top spec previa with all the bells and whistles would have cost you £30,000 new
