Default Totally Purile! Cup Holders

Hey there. Purile question, but would make our trips easier! My old Lucy had a great set of cup holders in the central console between the driver and passanger. The Previa though doesn't (its a GS) I was fiddling with the facia blanking panel where I suspect the cup holder goes and I see it just pops out. Does anyone know if just getting old of a holder from a more deluxe model of Previa will work in this slot, or is there some secret mechanism missing???

Does anyone have a spare holder to try?

Cheers Kneewax

the dash is the same throughout the range.just spec is different.GL's have the cupholders.im guessing you could swop your blanking plate for the cupholders from a GL.I swapped my double din cd/radio/cassette facia for a uk spec single din facia i got off ebay as the cd and cassette wasnt working on the double din unit when i first got the bus.would try ebay or an online breaker.

I have just managed to locate one from a breaker who happened to have a previa for spares.
Popped it in today. Sheer luxury.
Mine's a GL, so only came with a blanking plate.

I just typed in "Toyota previa front cup holder" on eBay.

£20 incl postage. Ordered Monday, received today.

I wrote this guide some time ago, take a read.

Previa Owners.co.uk :: View topic - Front Cupholder

Only the UK GX models came with these and even then not all. However it seems that all American and European Previa's had them standard. The part number for mine came from a Swiss model.
